Thank you everything was great
Wow my friend Rob Roman RIP you are missed owned the 1 of a kind original he had the entire set of galoob series 2 that was never released there were 1 of a kind prototypes for 10 figures. The man who did Galoobs Handmade prototypes had died and his wife listed a few on the old AOL message boards they were 100 each for.PN NEWS and guys like that she charged him 200 for Diamond Studd Scott Hall and she wanted 400 for the Ric Flair and he couldn't afford it. He was the bike builder at Toys r Us since he was in high school. Now remember this was in 1997 or 98 and 400 for a wrestling figure was un heard of at the time. Rob had done me so many favors over the years and he wanted that figure so bad and she was going to hold it for him for 1 month as the weeks went by he couldn't come up with the cash so I got in touch with her and bought it. I made sure she didn't tell him who had bought it he was so mad he had 9 of the 10 in the set and missing Flair was killing him 2 weeks later he stopped by my store and all he talked about was the Flair which I had and after 30 minutes of him practically in tears I pulled out a box and said this Flair? His jaw just dropped he started cursing me out because I had screwed him over but when I said dude it's yours he wanted to pay me for it I said absolutely not it's a gift but if you ever sell it I get 1st shot. He did sell them all and never told me a few years ago I saw the Scott Hall on ebay the auction ended at just under 10k and he would never tell me how much he sold them for and I said where is my Flair he had sold that too wouldn't tell me for how much but if Scott Hall sold for 10k the Flair has to be worth 20k today.
This is a great figure that acts as a continuation of the WCW Galoob line back in 1991. The look and feel of the figure is just like a Galoob. The size scales with the old figures too. This was originally an unproduced figure from when the Galoob line was cancelled. Prototype photos can be found on the internet and this is a superb rendition of that same figure. This is also the same attire he wore at the 1991 Great American Bash. There are lots of retro wrestling figures out there, but no one else is doing anything for the WCW Galoob line. Top Rope Collectibles is doing amazing work with these. I look forward to more releases.
Omg !! Amazing...you guys are awesome
